Mostly a wooded walk today. Not as many hills as yesterday. The woods are very dry the rivers are low or dry and some plants are withering.

On my own

Santosh and Rajiv helped me drop my car at the southern end of the trail. Now I am at the shelter for the night. 12 miles on Monday. Need to get an early start.

Camping with Santosh and Rajiv

Had a great time camping with Santosh and Rajiv. We did the Bigelow pond loop on Saturday then walked to the shelter. Sunday morning we walked to the MA CT border.

Backpack Trip on the Nipmuck Trail

I am going to take a 5 day camping and backpack trip on the Nipmuck trail in North Eastern Connecticut from Sep 11 to Sep 16. I will be camping with some friends on Saturday / Sunday at Bigelow Hollow State Park. Then on Monday I will begin walking south along the Nipmuck trail ending on Thursday at the Mansfield Hollow Dam.
